which set up a clash earned well at the box-office on day 1, day 2 saw a huge

Tweeting the number, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#BatlaHouse faces the normal decline on Day 2 [working day after a big holiday]... Day 3 and 4 should witness an upward trend... Needs to pack solid numbers to record a strong *extended* weekend... Thu 15.55 cr [revised], Fri 8.84 cr. Total: ₹ 24.39 cr. India biz.”

SpotboyE Editor Vickey Lalwani rated Batla House with 3.5
stars and wrote, “John Abraham is at his impressive best, sinking into the
character like there's no tomorrow. Hmmm... maybe his best performance till
date. Watch him in the scene where he says goodbye to his wife Mrunal Thakur in
the car. Watch him in the scene where his senior tells him to not refuse the
medal of honour. Watch him in the scene where he has a long discussion with
Nora Fatehi. The list is long.”
“The action sequences are just finesse and the camerawork,
excellent. Advani has done a good job, if you overlook a bit of repitiveness
that tends to crop up in patches. The long and short of Batla House is that it is
housed well, but yes, could have been cosier,” his review read further.
